Newcastle United plan to sell Ivan Toney this summer.
The Evening Chronicle says Toney is gathering plaudits in League One after hitting a rich vein of form with Scunthorpe United.
Toney now has his career back on track after a disappointing loan with Wigan Athletic earlier in the season.
He still has two years left on his Newcastle contract, but he has not done enough to find himself training with the first team under Rafa Benitez during his tenure as boss.
United may be open to offers for the striker they signed from Northampton Town under Steve McClaren in 2015.
