Newcastle United fullback Paul Dummett is looking forward to playing against St Mirren in preseason.
Dummett won the Scottish League Cup while on-loan wit St Mirren last season.
He told nufc.com: "For me it was the most memorable season of my career so far because of the Scottish League Cup win. I made a lot of friends at St. Mirren so, if selected to play, I can't wait to play against the friends I made while I was there.
"I'm particularly looking forward to coming up against Gary Teale, a full Scotland international. That will be a good test for me if I'm selected to play.
"And of course it will be great to see the fans again, but not just the fans - everyone behind the scenes and most importantly the manager, Danny Lennon, and his assistant Tommy Craig for giving me the opportunity to go to St. Mirren and play week in, week out."
