Ruben Loftus-Cheek was over the moon after helping Chelsea to a 2-0 FA Cup win over Scunthorpe United on Sunday.
The 19-year-old midfielder fired home Cesar Azpilicueta's low cross in the 68th minute to double his side's lead at Stamford Bridge to open his senior scoring account for the Blues.
Loftus-Cheek had replaced Oscar at half-time to make a strong contribution for Guus Hiddink's side, after Diego Costa had earlier put the Londoners ahead, and expressed his delight on BT Sport.
"(It was a) really nice moment when I got the goal. I'm really really happy with that," he said.
“Just to come on and play 45 minutes was amazing."
It was also Loftus-Cheek's first shot on target for the club at senior level which gives him a nice shot to goal ratio.
"One for one - 100 per cent, I'll try to keep that going and I was just happy to come on and help the team," he added.
Amazing feeling! You fans made it special for me the work doesn't stop #CFCpic.twitter.com/Ksgg68dVmV
