FC Dallas have signed an expanded local media rights deal with TXA 21, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The broadcaster, which is available in all Dallas-Fort Worth television homes over the air and on local cable, satellite and telco providers, will cover 17 of the team's 34 regular-season games.
The remaining games will be covered either by nationwide league broadcasters ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, Univision Deportes or UniMas, or via a secondary, yet to be determined local TV partner.
"We are committed to bringing quality, entertaining soccer to North Texas," said FC Dallas president Dan Hunt. "We've enjoyed quite a growth spurt as a league in the last five years and can't wait to continue bringing the beautiful game into more and more homes through our expanded partnership with TXA 21."
