Girona coach Michel urged calm after their defeat at Athletic Bilbao.
Girona were outplayed on Monday night as Athletic won 3-2, having been 3-1 ahead at one stage.
Michel later said: "We anticipated a complicated match, with very good pressure from the rival and trying to get out of the pressure and be vertical.
"We lacked in the first half in the duels and we lacked determination in zone three.
"The second half was good, we created scoring situations and we also made mistakes in their goals. The game was played but we lacked depth in moments of the first half when we dominated.
"The fans can't demand that we always win. Individual errors are the responsibility of the entire team. I ask that they come out with the ball played, yes we have committed backward passes, especially in their second goal. But this has given us the option to get here and have options to come and win in San Mamés.
"I leave with the feeling that we have not known how to generate verticality when we dominated and we will have to continue working on that."
