Former Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has said that his old boss Sir Alex Ferguson was always there for him.
Macheda scored a stunning winning goal for United against Aston Villa on his league debut, followed by another goal away to Sunderland.
But he failed to build on his early promise, eventually leaving the club. He recently joined Panathinaikos in Greece.
"I have worked with the most successful coach, Sir Alex Ferguson," he said during his unveiling with the Greek side.
"He was always there for me. I'm proud to have worked with the top."
