Toronto FC head coach Greg Vanney has spoken glowingly of new recruit Sebastian Giovinco.
?The Reds captured the Italian attacking midfielder, 28, from Juventus during the off-season and he has had an immediate impact at BMO Field.
?Giovinco provided an assist for Jozy Altidore's first of two goals in the 3-1 come-from-behind win over Vancouver Whitecaps on opening weekend of the 2015 MLS season and is expected to flourish even further according to TFC boss Vanney.
?"He wows us every day with some of the things he pulls off," Vanney said.
?"He's a clever player. A player like him, his strength is to get into little pockets, right, and to get on the ball and get on the turn and face forward. It's getting him facing the goal.
?"He's a good goal scorer and a good playmaker, so for us, it's our job to get him into areas where he can see the goal. We don't want him facing our goal all the time, that's for sure."
