Everton have reportedly upped the ante in their pursuit of Gregoire Defrel.
La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the Toffees have increased their offer for the 24-year old forward to £3.6million who scored nine goals in Serie A last season.
Defrel is being heavily linked with a Cesena exit following the club's relegation to Italy's second tier and Everton are keen to lure him to Goodison Park as Roberto Martinez looks to strengthen his attack.
The former Parma youngster is also a target for Everton's Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion and QPR who are preparing for life in the Championship following their disappointing season in the Premier League.
