Paulo Dybala was the hero with a successful 90th minute penalty for Roma in victory over Spezia.
Roma needed the win to secure sixth place and Europa League qualification.
“It was a very difficult match, but we were fighting for a place in Europe, the team gave everything it had and we won," Dybala told DAZN.
“The people are incredible, even after losing a Final, they filled the stadium. They were by our side all season, they deserved to celebrate this European qualification today."
Dybala was also asked about his commitment to Roma.
“It is important that we enjoy this moment, there will be time to talk about the future. I still have two years left on my contract."
