Former West Ham United defender Reece Oxford is likely to leave Augsburg in the summer.
The young Englishman has failed to make the grade at the German club.
He is 21 and could be set for a move to the English Championship in the coming transfer window, according to The Mirror.
Oxford joined Augsburg on a four year contract in the summer, and was linked with a loan move to Middlesbrough in January that did not materialize.
He could be hoping to kick start his career in the second division of English football, rather than jumping straight back into the Premier League.
Boro and Crystal Palace are likely to seek Oxford's signature this summer.
