Radamel Falcao will have his Chelsea loan ended early according to reports.
La Provence suggests the Blues will terminate the season-long deal for the Colombian striker who is set to return to parent club Monaco this month despite being linked with a sick move to MLS outfit Columbus Crew.
29-year-old Falcao has failed miserably at Stamford Bridge, scoring one goal in nine Premier League appearances, of which just one was a start.
It is the former Porto and Atletico Madrid star's second failed spell in England following last season's subpar campaign at Manchester United.
Further reports suggest that Falcao already arrived in Monaco on Tuesday to have his fitness assessed by the principality outfit before they sign off on his return
However, Sky Sports says Falcao has also been sighted at Chelsea's Cobham training centre where he has had his thigh injury closely looked at after it was recently aggravated.
Neither club have made an official comment on 'El Tigre' who has been a shadow of his former self in the UK and may need a mother change to resurrect his falling career.
