Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos admits the sale of Darwin Nunez has been good for him.
Ramos has stepped in to fill the void at centre-forward left by Nunez's €100m move to Liverpool.
He said, "The position that I prefer and that I represent best is the main reference of the attack, spearhead, but last year I was asked to play in support of our spearhead, who was Darwin, and I like it too.
"The important thing is to play. With his departure, there was room for me or for another striker to play. It would be strange if I said no, Darwin scored 30 goals or so.
"It's great now to have the opportunity to play the role I enjoy the most."
