Sol Campbell has been appointed as manager of Macclesfield Town.
It was the Arsenal legend's first managerial appointment. He retired from playing in 2012.
The deal was confirmed in a statement from the League Two club.
It read: "Macclesfield Town are delighted to announce that former Arsenal and England defender Sol Campbell is to become our new first team manager, after agreeing an 18-month deal with the club."
Campbell will be unveiled in a press conference on Thursday.
