Young Boys midfielder David Degen is being watched by Everton.

The Mirror says Everton boss David Moyes is interested in a cut-price January deal for midfielder Degen of Swiss side Young Boys.

However, Italian giants Fiorentina are also eyeing the 28-year-old, who has 14 caps for Switzerland.

Degen's twin brother, Philipp, had a disappointing three-year spell on Merseyside with Liverpool from 2008 until this summer.
