Yaremchuk ready to 'prove myself' at Valencia

Valencia sports chief Miguel Angel Corona says they're delighted with the arrival of Ramon Yaremchuk.

The striker signing was presented to local media on Thursday.

Corona said, "As you all know, today we are presenting our new striker, Roman Yaremchuk. Roman is a player who will help us increase our attacking potential. We know what he is capable of and he is a player who has had a career that speaks for itself, playing for big teams and generating big transfers.

"We fully trust his ability. Roman, welcome to Valencia CF. I know you know where you're coming from, the difficulty of the challenge and what this club represents. I wish you luck."

Yaremchuk also said: "We started talking a long time ago, although he contacted me a few months ago. I really wanted to come here because of the great club and the great fans. I have always been very interested in coming here. It's a great opportunity for me to be here and to be the first Ukrainian in the club's history. I'm looking forward to proving myself and getting started".
