Crystal Palace are hoping to have priced midfielder Cheick Doucoure out of a transfer this summer.

The London club want to ensure they do not lose their prized asset so close to the new Premier League season.

Per The Mail, the move may not have worked, as Palace's £75 million price is not deterring Liverpool.

The Reds believe that Doucoure's price is fair given the current condition of the market.

Manager Jurgen Klopp may even have the funds to match that asking price in the coming weeks.
