World Cup winner Marco Tardelli has weighed into the furious bust-up between Inter Milan teammates Romelu Lukaku and Nicolo Barella.
The pair clashed during the stalemate with Sampdoria.
Tardelli said, "I think it can happen when things don't go very well or don't go as you would like. These are situations that happen during a match, but the important thing is that everything ends up on the pitch because the good of the team comes first.
"Barella's performance? For me, he has always given one hundred percent and he's someone who starts out to give his best in every game. Maybe when he feels tired he can make some mistakes, but as a former footballer I feel like saying that these things have to start and finish in five seconds in order not to have further repercussions.
"Nicolò has already shown that he is a decisive player."
