Wolves skipper Karl Henry admits his return to Stoke City today will be emotional.

Wolverhampton-born Henry, who used to pretend to be Molineux legend Steve Bull in the school playground, said: "I signed for Stoke at the age of 11 and was there 12 years.

"I knew everybody there. When I go back it will bring back a few memories.

"I decided to leave. Sometimes as a young player you get a bit stale when you are not getting the games.

"You have to earn your respect elsewhere. I think I have done that."
