Wolves are planning a £500,000 bid for Preston defender Eddie Nolan.
The News of the World says Deepdale boss Alan Irvine is keen to keep the Republic of Ireland international but doubts whether Nolan, 21, will be able to resist the Premier League.
Nolan has started nine games for Preston this season and North End have seen their promotion bid falter somewhat in recent weeks.
