Wolfsburg have expressed an interest in signing Lazar Markovic from Liverpool.

The Reds are prepared to let the 23 year-old leave, who has made just a meagre 19 league appearances since joining in 2014 from Benfica for £20 million.

He has featured for three different clubs on loan during his time at Anfield, most recently Hull last season but was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Championship.

It is believed Swansea were an option for Markovic but it now looks likely he will be on his way to Germany.
