Chelsea are still not sure on whether they can play the likes of Willian and Pedro in the remainder of the Premier League season.
Both players are out of contract at the end of June, and they are open to staying until the Premier League finishes this season.
However, the Daily Telegraph reports there is no agreement between the Blues and the two players on a short term extension.
The issue lies in injury protection, as the contract must have some terms stipulating what the club would do if either player suffered an injury between now and the end of the season.
Players are worried about signing for one or two months, getting injured and losing the chance at a big contract for next season and beyond.
