Former football manager Howard Wilkinson will step down as chairman of the League Managers' Association.
The 80-year-old, who has sat in the chair for 33 years, is ready to retire and enjoy the next chapter of his life.
The ex-Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday helped to create the organization back in 1991.
He was awarded an OBE in the latest New Year's Honors at Buckingham Palace.
Per The Mail, the LMA will now look to a successor that can carry on Wilkinson's work.
Wilkinson also worked as the FA's technical director for four years, when he came up with the inspiration for the current academy system and the National Football Center at St George's Park.
