Wilder and Andrews lined up at Sheffield Utd

Former Republic of Ireland assistant Keith Andrews is signing for Sheffield United.

The Dubliner is set to take up a role within new Blades boss Chris Wilder's coaching set-up.

Wilder is taking charge at the Premier League minnows, replacing Paul Heckingbottom, it is claimed.

Per The Star, Andrews may sign an 18-month deal, which is the length of contract boss Wilder is receiving.

Sheffield United have five points from 14 Premier League games and are at the very bottom of the table.

A 5-0 loss to fellow newly promoted side and relegation candidates Burnley was the final straw where Heckingbottom was concerned.
