Wigan boss Cook: We were lucky to beat Bournemouth

Wigan Athletic manager Paul Cook believes his side were lucky to beat Bournemouth in their FA Cup third-round replay.

Goals from Sam Morsy, Dan Burn and Leicester City loanee, Callum Elder, was enough to see the League One side advance to the fourth-round, where they will face West Ham United.

"For us, it's a good diversion from the league but nothing can detract from our main objective which is trying to be promoted this season," said Cook.

"Games go for you sometimes. Everything's gone our way. We can enjoy the night, it's a good win for us but the scoreline, in my opinion, was very flattering to us."
