Liverpool are confident of landing Burnley striker Danny Ings.
Ings comes off contract at the end of the season.
The Mail on Sunday says it is understood an 'agreement in principle' is in place, with Ings having opted to stay at Burnley for the rest of the season to help their relegation fight on the basis a summer move to Liverpool will be flagged through.
The Reds would've signed Ings last month, but could not find a buyer for Mario Balotelli and so chose to wait until June before signing the former Burnley man.
