West Ham United have launched a double bid for Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.

BBC Sport says West Ham have offered over £50m for defender Maguire and midfielder McTominay.

United are willing to sell, but will need to first find replacements first before allowing either man to leave.

West Ham are also in advanced talks to sign Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez.

The Hammers have yet to make a signing this summer despite selling Declan Rice to Arsenal in a deal that could end up being worth £105m.
