West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has likened Diafra Sakho to among the best strikers he's worked with.
Sakho has proved to be one of the buys of the summer since joining from Metz for £4.5million, scoring his seventh Premier League goal of the season in last weekend's 3-1 win over Swansea.
Allardyce said he had worked with few strikers as clinical as Sakho.
"I think Nicolas Anelka, Michael Owen and Mark Viduka are," said Allardyce. "He will eventually be (as good as them). The way he is going he will get there.
"He is learning all the time. He is a terrific lad with a great attitude and he has the desire to be successful as a footballer and goalscorer."
