Watford could be set to move Domingos Quina on loan this winter.

The Athletic is reporting that the 20-year-old may be moved on for now.

He is highly rated at the club and new boss Nigel Pearson can see the player's talent.

But Quina is not the best defensively, and with the Hornets in a relegation battle Pearson needs his players to do their part at both ends.

The 20-year-old may benefit from a loan to a Championship club, where he can learn his craft and come back in the summer as a better player.

Quina has only played three Premier League games this season, with all those appearances being late substitutions.
