Watford rival Aston Villa, Bournemouth for Burnley keeper Heaton

Watford are moving for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

The Sun says Heaton has rejected a new contract at Turf Moor, sparking a three-way hunt also involving Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

And Watford boss Javi Gracia is eager for a new keeper following the departure of Heurelho Gomes at the end of the season.

He is ready to put Ben Foster directly up against his compatriot in competition for places at Vicarage Road.

Heaton, 33, only has a year left on his existing deal at Burnley and so could walk out of the club at the end of next season on a free transfer.

He would cost around £5million and Burnley may be forced to cash in or risk losing their experienced keeper for nothing next May.
