Watford boss Claudio Ranieri is not ruling out January signings from Serie A.

The Italian boss is expected to dip into the transfer market in his home country of Italy to help keep Watford in the Premier League.

The Hornets already secured Nicolas Nkoulou on a free transfer after he left Torino in Italy.

Ranieri gave an interview with Radio Anch'io Sport, where he spoke about possible January transfers.

He said: "Why not?

"We took Nkoulou, who used to be at Turin, who we needed a lot."
