Watford are showing real interest in American striker Daryl Dike, who plays for Orlando City.

Dike impressed during a short term loan spell at Barnsley last season and is now on the radar of several teams.

According to The Athletic, the Hornets are the latest team to show an interest in Dike.

The centre-forward scored nine goals in 22 appearances while on loan with Barnsley during the second half of the most recent campaign.

Watford face competition from other clubs, while Orlando City want at least £14 million to do a deal.
