Deportivo La Coruna defender Juanfran is reluctant to return to parent club Watford.

The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Depor after signing for Watford in the summer of 2014.

And, after making 34 league starts for the Spanish side, he told Lavoz de Galicia: "I'm very happy and they (Deportivo) have conveyed that they are very happy with me, so we will see what their intention is.

"They know my intention is to continue if possible and if not this year, then hopefully someday I will return because I am very happy with the experience I have had here.

"If they want me I'll do what I can to make it happen. It is important that both parties want it, I'm sure it can be achieved."
