Watford chairman Duxbury happy for Udinese to keep hold of Pussetto

Watford chairman Scott Duxbury says they're eager to sell Ignacio Pussetto.

The winger has been doing his preseason with Udinese and could sign for the Zebrette.

Duxbury said, "We signed him, he played a few games and then Nigel Pearson decided he didn't want to use him, and subsequently every coach did not want him. The only chance we have of recovering some of what we paid for him, even more, is for him to go back on loan to Udinese.

"He is popular in Italy, he played many games last season and we were hoping that a Serie A team would come forward and buy him. It was an advantage to have a 'twin club'.

"He trains with Udinese and plays in a friendly match. If an offer comes, it's fantastic. We will probably loan him again so that hopefully he can attract attention in Italy."
