Real Madrid great Karim Benzema struck on his competitive debut for Al-Ittihad on Thursday.
Benzema struck the winner against ES Tunis in the Arab Club Champions Cup.
The scores were locked at 1-1 when Benzema dropped his shoulder and struck a long range effort beyond the Tunis goalkeeper.
Former Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante also made his debut as a second-half substitute.
Al-Ittihad will take on Tunisian side CS Sfaxien on Sunday in their second match of the competition.
