Celta Vigo captain Iago Aspas has apologised after destroying a VAR monitor at the end of their draw with Sevilla.
Aspas, then off the field, was furious and threw the monitor to the ground after a penalty call in the final minutes was reversed and denied by a VAR decision.
Taking to social media, Aspas posted this morning: "Yesterday I made a mistake. I shouldn't have channeled my frustration like that.
"It hurts because it is not the example I want to give to the smallest Celtistas."
