Stephen Warnock admits Dutch defender Andre Ooijer is a key member of Blackburn Rovers'.

The left-back said: "No disrespect to Nelly (Ryan Nelsen), but Andre has come in and done really well and taken his chance.

"But that's what you expect someone of his calibre to do.

"He's a Dutch international captain and he's never going to let anyone down. He's a fantastic player and he's always talking and organising the players around him.

"He's also great around the dressing room - he always gees people up - and he's a great character."
