Wales are not prepared to bring in a Liverpool youngster into their first team squad as yet.

The national team expected to resist the urge to incorporate Lewis Koumas into the senior setup.

Per The Sun, the 18-year-old has impressed Wales scouts and their coaching staff.

However, the teenager is still very raw at first team level and they do not want to add to the pressure on him.

He has been used more often by manager Jurgen Klopp due to an injury crisis.

Koumas is one who may find that next season is when he makes his senior breakthrough, both at club and international level.
