Wales coach Ryan Giggs earns bumper Euros bonus

Wales coach Ryan Giggs has earned a bumper bonus after guiding his team to the Euros.

The Sun says Manchester United icon Giggs banked a £400,000 bonus for leading Wales to Euro 2020.

The Dragons boss, who celebrates his second anniversary in the job on Wednesday, landed the windfall following the glory of qualifying for this summer's finals.

It is only the third time - after 1958 and 2016 - in Wales' history that they have reached a major tournament.

The Manchester United legend, who is on a £400,000-a-year salary, is halfway through his four-year contract with the next mission to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Euro 2016 semi-finalists Wales, like the other 23 finalists, will receive a total of £8million in Uefa prize money for reaching the finals.
