Theo Walcott wants to be recognised by Arsenal for the work he does for the club.
The Daily Star says aside from his salary, Walcott also wants rewarding for the promotional work he does for Arsenal, with him seen as the club's poster boy.
He was one of the few Gunners players who had been at Euro 2012 to be told to go on the club's pre-season Asia tour and he is looking to be rewarded for his image rights.
Despite the contract wrangle Walcott had told friends he wants to stay at Arsenal, but it now appears increasingly likely Wenger is ready to let him leave.
