Vitesse Arnhem spokesman Wiebe Nelissen says they expect Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda to return next year.

Musonda, on-loan at Vitesse, is currently in London recovering from a knee injury suffered in September.

Nelissen said, "Whether we will see Musonda play an official game in Vitesse's shirt, that chance is still there, yes, and hopefully as soon as possible.

"This injury will take a little longer than expected, which is annoying for everyone, especially for Charly.

"But hopefully he will be completely recovered soon and he can make his minutes here."
