Villarreal coach Quique Setien was delighted with victory at Girona.

The Yellow Submarine won 2-1 thanks to goals from Yeremy Pino and Gerard Moreno.

Setien said, “It was a game of chances. Both teams had to pause at times because if you don't, you can end up being too far forward. Also, when you have players who are good in space like Yeremy, Samu or Jackson, you know how to wait for your moment.

“We have won twice against a team that plays very good football. It's good to see how Girona play. They have great players and a very good head coach.
