Villarreal coach Pacheta: These players aren't used to a relegation battle

Villarreal coach Pacheta admits he was frustrated after their draw with Alaves.

The result leaves Villarreal at the end wrong of the table.

Pacheta said, "Alavés played a fantastic game. We are nervous, we are not doing the things we trained for. Being so stiff we reacted with the inertia of the comeback.

"At that moment we found more things than I wanted. We have to find a solution. Of course I am worried about how we are because the sensations are not good. The grades are at the end of May. On this day the sensations are much more important.

"Here we are still looking for a model that works and for mobility it is not it will be."

The coach also said: "During the second half we have been improving. That makes me optimistic but I am worried that the best on my team is the goalkeeper. So far I have no doubts. We are going point by game and that is not enough for this team. I am worried, but only until matchday ten. We must be calm. Those who get nervous make more mistakes. Stay calm because this is going to be resolved, but the board gives me peace of mind."

Villarreal's situation is, at least, worrying for Pacheta: "I am used to being in these situations. I am in an institution that is not and that is why we are more nervous but seeing the kids every day, I am sure that we will get out of here soon.

"But we are not calm and this club is not used to being in this situation. Thanks to the people who have pushed us, even though we were not doing well."
