Villarreal coach Pacheta says they must learn from their Europa League defeat at Panathinaikos.

The Yellow Submarine lost their Europa League opener 2-0 in Athens.

Pacheta later said, “We have to improve and fix certain things that we don't do well. We have to improve the duels in attack and defence. We have to be tougher, take more shots on goal and get closer to the opposition's box.

“Today's game gives me information and we're going to have everyone on board. We have to improve things and the players already know that. It will be a nice and interesting process because there is a will.

“We must forget the defeat, learn from our mistakes and face the next matches. We have a lot of players and they are very good. They are used to playing every three days and competing. Many of them have been champions of this competition. We have to work to improve."
