Villarreal coach Marcelino will take win against Panathinaikos: But I'm p***ed off

Villarreal coach Marcelino admitted mixed emotions after their 3-2 Europa League win against Panathinaikos.

Marcelino was left unhappy with the goals conceded.

He said, "You always keep the victory and the good. But out of the corner of your eye you look at the least good. I think we played well not only in the first half but until the penalty goal.

"Not only did we have control of the game, we had defensive imbalances. The second goal really p***ed me off, it's something we have to correct no matter what. If you can do the fourth and you don't, you suffer. And that's what happened to us. But the team showed many things that we want to do and that we want to insist on.

"What we do has hurt us. The penalty was a small penalty, but we must avoid that type of situation and we cannot concede the second goal. If we concede we put victories at risk. Being positive in many moments of the game, we had great organisation in which we barely conceded any chances to the rival. Coming from where we come from, this make us feel uneasy and we have to avoid them. With work we are sure to avoid them."
