Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi is backing Inter Milan's bid for Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt.

Rossi has also been linked with Inter, who he feels will be the team to beat in Italy this season.

"Inter will again be strong," said Rossi. "It looks like they are buying Kuyt.

"He is a good player and will do well with better players around him."
