Aston Villa players feel they were well worth their point against Arsenal.

It has been an unforgiving schedule for Villa but striker Andreas Weimann believes they are improving under boss Paul Lambert.

"I think we've been playing quite well the last few weeks," he told ESPN.

"Those three fixtures are really hard for any team and against Manchester United we did well, unfortunately we couldn't hold on to a point or all three points and then Manchester City, I think we were well in the game until the penalty.

"Today we showed that we're really a team. Everyone ran their socks off for each other and I think it's a great point in the end."
