Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is impressed by the current form of midfielder Jack Colback.

O'Neill singled out Colback for special praise following the 4-1 win at Wigan.

"Jack had a problem in the warm-up, but asking him to come off was an impossibility," he said. "He just wanted to go on and continue.

"He's a great character. I'm delighted with him - and he's a heck of a footballer as well."
