Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is tipped to land Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia.
The Daily Star says McLeish looks set to get lucky with his second attempt to prise French winger N'Zogbia away from Wigan.
The Villa boss nearly got his man while he was in charge at St Andrew's, only to miss out at the last minute.
Now he is ready to write a £10m cheque as soon as England's Stewart Downing moves to Liverpool.
