Former Italy striker Christian Vieri says Inter Milan will learn from their Champions League.

Inter fell at the round of 16 stage against Atletico Madrid.

But Vieri insists: "Inter out of the Champions League against the Colchoneros? It's not a disappointment.

"Yes the match was played on equal terms, they had their opportunities, they faced a very strong team.

"So I don't see it as a disappointment because for me defeats are always an opportunity for growth and important experience."
