Strasbourg coach Patrick Vieira has told Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag what he can expect working with Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Vieira was in charge of Nice when Ratcliffe's INEOS bought the club in 2019 and lasted a year before he was dismissed.

But the Frenchman had no complaints working with the English billionaire.

Vieira told Four Four Two: "He'd never interfere with my work. We'd talk about football when we met, about the team and our lives, but he's not an owner who will get involved too much and prevent the manager from doing his job.

"His ambitions and expectations are high, so you know where you stand, but you can do your job freely."
